9/11 9 years later

As long as I live I will never forget the morning of September 11th, 2001. I was scared and pissed. Confused and angry. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. How could America be so vulnerable? I watched TV all day in awe. I think I actually cried when the towers fell. All I could think of was how many lives were lost.

Later that day, and for the next few days, you could see the plume of smoke from Monmouth County. It was a very eerie sight.

9 years later and we still remember. We salute all the heroes that gave their life that day. And the ones who have died since then from the after effects of being at ground zero.

This year I ask you to do the same as last year. While we remember the heroes, let's also remember all the civilians that lost their lives going to work. So many innocent lives cut short.

Also remember the attack on the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93. God bless all the victims, their family and friends. And God Bless America!!!
