Once again in 2010 I said goodbye to someone. My cousin Lisa's husband Kenny. He was more than just my cousin's husband. He was a cousin. He was family. He was a friend. Kenny passed away July 31st at the age of 48. Kenny was a great guy. He had some health issues. He was on his second kidney transplant. He had some complications. He had some pain and he had some trouble. But, one thing he didn't do was complain. Not only did he not complain about his problems, he didn't complain about anything. It seemed as if he was never in a bad mood. There are not many people like Kenny and Lord knows we could use a lot more.
I've spent a lot of time hunting and fishing with him. In fact, he was the first person I went hunting with. I've also smoked many cigars with him and partied with him. He was a fun guy to be around. You always knew when he was there that you'd be laughing. He was able to make the best out of any situation.
